Aromatherapy Session

We will begin by discussing any medical history or pertinent information such as allergies, etc. We will review your goals for this and any ongoing sessions.  We will work together to determine which oils best fit your current need. I will make a blend for you to take with you using an appropriate carrier oil.

Working together to address your specific needs, I will then create a custom blend that will be introduced to you during a guided meditation. Leave with a one-ounce personal blend, feeling renewed and refreshed.

1. Are essential oils safe?

Essential oils are safe if used properly.  For topical use, always use a carrier oil.  Never ingest essential oils. Please share any concerns you may have during the intake portion of your session.

2. How long will my blend last?

Essential oils have a significant shelf life. Usually it’s the carrier which degrades before the oils.  As a rule of thumb, most blends will start to lose their potency after 6 months. But you’ll be using your blend so often you’ll run out sooner than that!

3. Are essential oils safe for children or pets?

Great question!  Some are, some most definitely are not! It depends greatly on the child’s age. If an adult is using a specific oil that is too strong for a child’s growing body, that oil should not be used in a diffuser in the child’s living space. You will be asked about your family situation and who else will come in contact with your blend during your session, so that we can ensure proper use. Cats are extremely sensitive to essential oils and should generally not be exposed.  Dogs have a higher tolerance to certain oils.
